What is the Pectus Up?

In 2012, Ventura Medical Technologies, together with the Corporació Sanitària Parc Taulí de Sabadell (Barcelona), developed a new surgical method called Taulinoplastia, which offers a minimally invasive extrathoracic solution for the Pectus Excavatum correction.

The new surgical technique for this pathology uses the Pectus Up Surgery Kit system to fix this thoracic deformity and was first performed in 2012 at this hospital in Sabadell. The results have been very satisfactory since the outset and more and more professionals are adopting this innovative method of extrathoracic surgery.
