The company wished to join the occasion to support one of the most experienced surgeons in <strong>Pectus Up <\/strong>for children and adolescents, <a href=\"https:\/\/pectusup.com\/profesionales\/dr-bernardo-nunez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Bernardo N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/a>, Pediatric Surgery Service Coordinator in Hospital Parc Taul\u00ed in Sabadell (Barcelona, Spain).<\/p>\n<p>Dr. N\u00fa\u00f1ez shared a communication with the participants to the congenital thoracic malformations session in which he announced a <strong>Pectus Up<\/strong> modality with a new functionality of this innovative extrathoracic surgical method for <strong>Pectus Excavatum<\/strong>, ensuring the potential of the new technique.<\/p>\n<p>He introduced the ability of <strong>Pectus Up<\/strong> surgical technique to reduce the potential morbidity of <strong>Nuss technique<\/strong> when used on a combined basis on patients affected by Pectus Excavatum with a severe Haller Index.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In his presentation conclusion, Dr. N\u00fa\u00f1ez stated that the same procedure used for sternal lift before placing the Pectus Up implant is a good complement for patients with extreme sternal sinking for reducing surgical Nuss technique inherent risks. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the congress, several pediatric surgeons introduced their experiences in <strong>Pectus<\/strong> <strong>Excavatum<\/strong> treatment, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tauli.cat\/hospital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hospital Taul\u00ed <\/a>presentation generated a great deal of expectation for minimizing the remarkable potential morbidity of Nuss method when surgeons opt for this surgical choice.<\/p>\n<p>Last advances in pediatric surgery were also introduced in the event, as well as a broad and varied range of scientific activities, with analysis and solutions proposals\u00a0 for problems faced by the Spanish pediatric surgery, by encouraging investigation among its professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Ventura Medical Technologies was also present at the 26th Meeting of the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 27 to 30 May 2018, attended by the foremost international experts in thoracic conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Ventura Medical Technologies team met prestigious thoracic surgeons from around the world who showed great interest in the new technique and could personally watch the new Taulinoplastia surgical procedure as well as the Pectus Up functioning.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The event was held in Granada (Spain) on 24, 25 [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":3362,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[175],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-13456","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
