The company Sumedical S.A<\/strong><\/a>, new distributor of Pectus<\/strong> Up<\/strong> in Costa Rica, has worked with Ventura Medical Technologies<\/strong><\/a> to obtain Health Registration with the <\/em>Direcci\u00f3n de Regulaci\u00f3n de Productos de Inter\u00e9s Sanitario<\/em><\/strong> (DRPIS) <\/strong>of the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n

Sumedical is a medical products supplier offering a differentiated service in the healthcare sector by bringing new solutions to the market and continuously seeking to improve the patients\u2019 quality of life.<\/p>\n

Ventura Medical Technologies<\/strong> has already registered the Pectus<\/strong> Up<\/strong> in different countries around the world<\/a>, such as Spain, France, UK, Portugal, Colombia, Mexico, Chile and Italy.<\/p>\n

In other countries, such as Morocco and Peru, the Pectus<\/strong> Up<\/strong> is in at the stage of registration acceptance by the corresponding health authorities.<\/p>\n

The DRPIS<\/strong> certifies that the Pectus Up Surgery Kit<\/strong> is a quality medical device and that it conforms to Costa Rican regulations regarding healthcare products. This enables Ventura Medical Technologies<\/strong> to distribute the most innovative product for the fixing of Pectus<\/strong> Excavatum<\/strong>. This new surgical method allows to treat the most frequent deformity of the chest with an extrathoracic approach and, therefore, minimally invasive.<\/p>\n

After obtaining the CE Certificate<\/strong> in the European Union, the Pectus<\/strong> Up<\/strong> continues to gain quality certificates in other Latin American countries.
