The surgery to remove the implant is very simple and it is performed when the thorax has already consolidated its desired shape.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since the beginning of 2016, <a href=\"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/\"><strong>Ventura Medical Technologies<\/strong><\/a> is marketing the <strong>Pectus Up<\/strong> for the extrathoracic surgical treatment of <strong>Pectus Excavatum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Pectus<\/strong> <strong>Up<\/strong> is designed for the treatment of <strong>Pectus<\/strong> <strong>Excavatum<\/strong> in a single surgery with an extrathoracic approach, which reduces tissue damages during the implantation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This new minimally invasive surgical method is a great alternative for the treatment of the <strong>Pectus<\/strong> <strong>Excavatum<\/strong>. It has great advantages both for the patient and the surgeon in terms of reducing risks, but also for hospitals and insurance companies due to cost reduction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The innovative surgical technique <strong>Pectus<\/strong> <strong>Up<\/strong> has significant benefits, among them, its low complexity, the early recovery of the patient, and the fact of being little painful. Therefore, it is free from serious risks and involves a short hospital stay. Thus, the postoperative period does not bear the ICU bed occupancy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/venturamedicaltechnologies.com\/el-pectus-up-surgery-kit-consigue-los-certificados-mas-prestigiosos-de-calidad-eficacia-y-seguridad\/\">The implant has been accredited by the AEMPS<\/a> (Spanish Medicines and Health Products Agency) and has been CE certified since 2015. In addition, the <strong>Pectus<\/strong> <strong>Up<\/strong> is certified or marketed in different European countries, such as France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Portugal. In Latin America, it is also available in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Costa Rica.
