Ventura Medical Technologies is one of the companies of the expedition to Colombia through ACC1\u00d3 (The agency for enterprise competitiveness – Catalonia Trade & Investment).The main objective of the mission is to find physicians interested in the implant, the Pectus Up Surgery Kit, who could be trained in the development of the Taulinoplastia method and becoming referent surgeons in their country. The program includes interviews with potential customers, selection of representatives, local partners or distributors, etc.<\/p>\n
Pectus up, the pioneering treatment of Pectus Excavatum, received a lot of attention among the thoracic and pediatric community of Colombian surgeons, which are very interested in the development launched by Ventura.<\/p>\n
The same interest was shown during the visit to Catalonia of representatives of the Colombian health department. Recently, this delegation has visited our country and has known the most representative areas of the Catalan health system. The aim of the trade mission was to establish new networks and links between both health systems, and also to take advantage of the visit generating new improvement opportunities. This visit arises as a result of the prior Catalan visit to the Colombian territory that was planned to introduce the products of the associated companies to HealthTech Cluster into the foreign market, to improve their exporting activity and to open new export markets.
