Under the expert guidance of <strong>Professor Kolvekar<\/strong>, both children and adults were treated using the innovative <strong>Pectus Up<\/strong> <strong>New Generation<\/strong> extrathoracic surgical technique.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pectusup.com\/pectus-up-surgery-kit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Pectus Up<\/strong><\/a> is a unique, <strong>extrathoracic<\/strong>\u00a0solution that avoids the pain, risks, and potential complications associated with more invasive \u201cintrathoracic\u201d standard of care treatment approaches: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/kidshealth.org\/es\/parents\/nuss-procedure.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nuss<\/a> and Ravitch.<\/em><\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>Professor Kolvekar<\/strong>, a globally recognized cardiothoracic surgeon based at <strong>St Bartholomew\u2019s Hospital<\/strong>, is a pioneer of advanced, highly complex thoracic chest wall surgery, including Pectus Excavatum. His expertise was instrumental in training Australian and New Zealand doctors. By learning from Dr. Kolvekar\u2019s years of surgical experience with the Pectus Up procedure, the surgeons are now better equipped to perform the new procedure with higher precision and safety.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The whistle-stop tour was conducted across the Australian continent, with patients treated in <strong>Adelaide<\/strong>, <strong>Perth<\/strong>, <strong>Sydney<\/strong>, <strong>Brisbane<\/strong>, and <strong>Townsville<\/strong>.
