The surgery is characterized by the placement of an implant on the breastbone, which corrects the defect without entering in to the chest cavity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Bardaj\u00ed, chief of the Pediatric Surgery Department at\u00a0<em>Hospital Parc Taul\u00ed de Sabadell,<\/em>\u00a0visited the\u00a0<em>Hospital Cl\u00ednico de Valladolid<\/em>\u00a0medical staff in order to train them and take part in their first surgery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The chief of the Thoracic Surgery Department at\u00a0<em>Hospital Cl\u00ednico de Valladolid<\/em>, Dr. Mariano Garc\u00eda Yuste, has stated that \u201cthe trials and surgeries have been very successful\u201d, although he has also shown prudence: \u201cit is a new surgery and precautions are needed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Garc\u00eda Yuste met the Pectus Up Technique in a medical conference in Copenhaguen (Denmark) in June 2014, when coincided with Dr. Bardaj\u00ed and Ventura Medical, where they presented their trials and first results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>VENTURA MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES PROVIDES SOLUTIONS FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY PECTUS EXCAVATUM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ventura Medical Technologies, together with the\u00a0<em>Hospital Parc Taul\u00ed<\/em>, has developed this new product named\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pectusup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pectus Up surgery kit<\/a>\u00a0in order to treat Pectus Excavatum patients using a minimum invasive technique.
