Dr. Giampiero Dolci has had a distinguished career in thoracic surgery, marked by significant positions and achievements. He is currently the Director of the Thoracic Surgery Unit at Sant’Anna Hospital in Ferrara, a position he has held since October 2023. Previously, he was Head of the Lung Transplant Program at AOU Bologna from 2020 to 2023 and worked as a surgeon in the Thoracic Surgery Unit of Policlinico S. Orsola-Malpighi in Bologna from 2011 to 2020.

He has been an active contributor to clinical research, publishing in national and international journals and playing a key role in the development of innovative surgical techniques.
